Each year, the Cleveland Foundation welcomes a cohort of fellows to serve in nonprofit organizations around the community. As part of their professional development, they participate in monthly workshops on various topics—including communications.
our role
Collective Reach provided a three-hour training to the 2019-2020 cohort of Public Service Fellows that covered:
- Storytelling: Why storytelling works, and how to use storytelling techniques in your work
- Professional communications skills; presentations, networking, writing, and interpersonal relations
- Communicating on behalf of your organization: Developing an effective elevator speech
